Hi,
Take care when doing PWHT. If the material is quenched and tempered (check with Material TC), the PWHT temperature shall be less than tempering temperature. Otherwise the tensile test will fail.

i think full GTAW is better than combined processes.but you must apply high preheat to prevent from excessive hardness & occuring cold crack .(due to high amount of Ceq)
