Dear Mahantesh,
 
ER 309LMo having More amount of molybdinum. When you apply 309LMo as barrier layer while dilution you will get Mo percent more to compensate the chemistry with subsequent ER 347 layer. Other wise if you directly apply 347 your final chemistry in two layer will not match with 347.
 
In incolnel we have to achive the chemistry by nconel only with two or three layer ( according to your welding parameter). There is no other consumable to get the final chemistry apart from inconel.

What is weld overlay
Why barrier layer requires ER309LMo & subsiquent layer requires ER347
When overlaying with Inconel alloys we dont use barrier layer ER309L why.

Hi,  You are correct, Minimum refers to the one cycle for which this part will expose until final work shop PWHT. hence mill test certificate shall include this.  Max. SPWHT, refers to additional cycles of heat treatment that are reserved for future repairs during equipment lifetime.  Again, these simulated no.
