Hi friends
Can anyone please tell me which SMAW or GMAW consumable I can use to weld followingmaterial combination :-
Imapct testing not required.PWHT not required.only way avaialble is to heat by LPG burners for post heating.Thickness is 70mm and weld size is 5 mm only.
1st material (EN-8) :- Tensile strength= 90000 psi
C.0.50%
Si.0.25%
Mn.0.70%
S.0.05%
P.0.05%
2nd material (Undefined) ( Tensile strength= 90000psi to 11000 psi) C=0.355,Si=0.6645,Mn=1.7084,P=.0209,S=0.0326,Cr=0.2083,Ni=0.0333,
Mo=0.0314,Cu=0.0226,Al=0.0182,Ti=0.0177,V=0.0935,Nb=0.0103
Please suggest which I can use if it is not suitable.>
