Dear Friends,

We are experiencing something very typical. At one site when we try and weld butt join there is absolutely no spattering and the welding is good.

However, when there is closed environment [box] and fillet joint [ L joint ] inside the box  with a 4mm 7018 electrode DC Inverter OCV 80V. There is spattering experienced.

Any explainations , solutions for this ?

Regards,
