Some input from the B 31.3 for subject discussion.
 
Refer to Para 304.3.3 (e) of B 31.3, it indicates the required minimum separation for the RF pad of multiple branches and also recommending PFI ES7 for the spacing for welded nozzles.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Parvan Chavdarov and I am working for TUV Cologne as expeditor. I can share with you my experience.
 
In general this minimum distance is not specified in the most commonly used regulations, like ASME. Even here in Germany there is no special requirements except in one regulations that refer to water and gas systems (if you are interested I can scan it and send it to you tomorrow, but if I am not mistaken, the distance has to be 4t or 50 mm whichever is bigger). Mr. Raghuram is right that there is something mentioned in EN 13480-3, but this is an exception.
 
You may be sure about one thing - the minimum distance between the welds depends on the thickness of the product in question. The thicker the material is, the bigger the distance should be, because the heat affected zone is bigger.
