After welding, less than 1.5 mm gap is the cause to reject the weld after
RT?
If yes, in accordance which criteria?

The gap needs to be 1.5mm before welding. The gap is there to prevent stress on the weld or parent material from expansion from heat.

If it is rejectable, i haven't seen the code yet that says so. Although it may be a customer requirement that there is some gap after welding to ensure that undue stress did not happen

E71T-1C  is Charpy Impact tested at -20degC E71T-1CJ is Charpy impact tested at -40degC. AWS Classification for FCAW is only a supplementary...
