[MW:785] Re: Inch DIA

The term Inch Dia OR Dia Inch is used for the quantity of welding for the piping fabrication.

1 inch dia/Dia inch = Size of the joint X No. of the joints.

Subject: ***SPAM*** [MW:784] Inch DIA

Dear Friends,

What is the difference between 1 inch welding and 1 inch dia welding?

1 inch dia = 1* 3.14 = 3.14 inch. Is this right.

One full welding on a 42'' pipe is 42'' dia welding...is it right.

Thank you,

Regards,

Sabir

1 inch dia = 1* 3.14 = 3.14 inch.
Answer: this is the circumference of a 1" diameter pipe.

One full welding on a 42"pipe is 42"dia welding.
Answer: this is what you call inch-dia or dia-inch in pipe welding production or pipe erection term
